Are you a Netflix subscriber? Then there is a very good chance you’ve watched the captivating Narcos series. It’s a series that places a focus on the history of the drug world that took place in the 80s and 90s in Columbia and later moves on to Mexico too. The star of the show, in the first two series’, is unquestionably Pablo Escobar and it’s his gang that’ll take centre stage.
The latest trailer for Narcos: Rise of the Cartels finally shows off some in-game footage of what is now a turn-based action strategy game. Players will get to decide whether they take control of the Medellin Cartel or oppose the drug lords by playing as the DEA. Whether you see the story from both points of view remains to be seen, which would add some great replay value, but it’s expected to launch on PC and consoles towards the end of this year.
Kuju Entertainment previously developed the Marvel Ultimate Alliance series and Silent Hill: Downpour, so it could turn out to be good fun.
