With all the excitement surrounding the upcoming release of Terminator: Dark Fate, it was only a matter of time that we would see a game tying in with the classic movies. Something that is surprisingly rare these days are FPS games. Terminator Resistance hopes to add to that number as this is going be played from that point of view.
It will launch on 15 November for PC, PS4 and Xbox One (3 December if you’re based in the US), which is a bit worrying – why have we only heard of this now? For a brand that is so huge you would expect a bit more fanfare surrounding it. Here is what we know about the story:
Terminator: Resistance introduces a new hero, Jacob Rivers, a soldier in the Resistance Pacific Division. Despite the fact that Jacob is just a private, he’ll soon discover that he’s been targeted by the latest threat from SKYNET and marked for termination!
SKYNET may be destined to lose this war, but at what cost to Jacob? Experience the events leading up to the decisive final battle, smash SKYNET’s Defence Grid and help decide the fate of mankind in the war against the machines!
Let’s just say this – the last game Reef Entertainment released was the less than desirable Rambo game. We want to believe that it could be fun, but don’t get your hopes up.
