New trademark suggests that Mafia and Mafia 2 remasters are making a drive-by

Considered by many a gamer as some of the best games that focus on the mob scene, the first two mafia games launched way back in 2002 and 2011. Since then 2K released the third instalment that took a new direction but was unfortunately plagued by repetitive missions. It looks like we might be getting a return of the first two games as remasters now.

This bit of information comes via a trademark that was registered by Take-Two Interactive, which has since been removed. Those on the internet who got eyes on it before it vanished have reported back on both the original Mafia and second Mafia logos being represented in the trademark. This trademark actually took place on 2 August. Some people were hoping that it might lead to a Mafia 4 announcement, but a more recent trademark has the logo appearing as a ‘more stylised’ version of the original trademark.

Our money is on remasters of the first two games. If you’re a fan of the first two games then you best cross those fingers.

Married to a gamer and she kicks my ass at most shooters. If the game is enjoyable I'll play it, no matter the format.
