The Terminator is finally getting an FPS that doesn’t involve arcade machines with gun attachments

The Terminator universe is a pretty exciting one and considering how the movies don’t really seem to respect the whole time-travelling thing themselves, you would think that games related to gun-toting death machines would be everywhere. For some reason, possibly further proof that we are living in one of the sub-optimal possible timelines, this isn’t the case. But if you enjoy Terminator, soon we will have a first-person shooter based on the film series.

Terminator: Resistance is set 30 years after Judgement Day, during the Future War. The game is aiming to allow a guns blazing approach, or a slow, stealthy scrap with robots. You gather scraps to trade and craft and skill upgrades will help you turn all your enemies into piles of molten slag.

A story-based single-player FPS? Sounds almost too good to be true. Maybe we aren’t in the worst possible timeline then. The game releases on November 15.

If it has the letters RPG in it, I am there. Still battling with balancing trying to play every single game that grabs my interest, getting 100% in a JRPG, and devoting time to my second home in Azeroth.
