As more and more developers are gathering that the Switch is the perfect console to port last generation games to, slowly but surely the Switch is filling up with many of those classics that can now be played on the go. Now it seems like Metro Redux is the next title to join the Nintendo family.
This leak comes via a Portuguese retailer where the game has been listed as a December release at a price of € 44,99 (about R750). The placeholder date shows as 1 December, which can’t be correct as that falls on a Sunday. They’re likely still waiting for the exact launch date to be revealed. Metro Redux includes both Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light – both titles that have never shown up on a Nintendo platform before. This would be the perfect entry point for players who have been interested in the series, but never got around to it.
Until it’s confirmed for the Switch, it’s probably best to keep that as a rumour for now.
