Called Title Update 6, this month will see the biggest addition of content to The Division 2. For players with the Year 1 Pass, this will be available on October 15, while everyone else will get the free update on October 22.
This patch will add two new story missions, a new character specialisation, a PVP-mode and multiplayer map, along with game fixes and new cosmetics. Those with the Year 1 Pass will also get new Classified Assignments.
Get ready to take the fight to the Pentagon, where Black Tusk operatives are trying to spread a deadly plague and head into Darpa’s Research Lab, where Black Tusk is probably getting all of those robotic weapons platforms from.
The latest specialisation is the Technician, who doesn’t back down from fights with drones and robots. Armed with EMP grenades and a rocket launcher that locks on up to six enemies before a fiery flourish.
While there is a lot of content here, veterans might notice that the second raid isn’t mentioned anywhere. Raid two has been delayed until 2020 to make sure it gives the quality and experience that players want. “Our first raid, Operation Dark Hours, was a thrill to launch. Watching players share their experiences in overtaking the Black Tusk at Washington National Airport was unbelievable. That said, reading the feedback on our forums and listening to the discussions with the community, it became apparent that releasing our second raid at this stage would not allow us to deliver the optimum experience that you expect. With that in mind, we’ve made the decision to delay the launch of our second raid until 2020. The extra time for our teams will help ensure the second raid not only meets our standards, but yours as well.”
