Darksiders Genesis hits PC in December, consoles on Valentine’s Day

Darksiders Genesis takes the usually third-person action-adventure Darksiders and turns it into a top-down hack-and-slash. This change in the formula comes to PC and Stadia on 5th of December, while console players will have to wait for a more romantic 14 February.

Genesis, if the word didn’t give any clues, happens before the first Darksiders game. Here we finally catch up with Strife, the gunslinger of the four horsemen. Get ready to learn about the Seven Seals while shooting angels and demons in the face.

Strife isn’t alone in this fight, with War joining the fray to offer some up close and personal interaction with that massive sword of his. In two-player co-op, each player takes control of one of these two horsemen, while in single-player you will have to swap between the two to the best character to handle the current situation.

Shooting things in isometric view rather than the normal third-person view sounds a lot easier and quicker, and who doesn’t want another romp with War?

If it has the letters RPG in it, I am there. Still battling with balancing trying to play every single game that grabs my interest, getting 100% in a JRPG, and devoting time to my second home in Azeroth.
