The outcome of the first community voted stuff pack ended up being Laundry Day Stuff, which gave Sims the ability to – you guessed it – do laundry. Turns out this is also the most popular stuff pack for The Sims 4 (according to tweets from Sim Guru Lyndsay earlier this year.) Laundry was a frequently requested gameplay feature prior to the vote, so I suppose it’s no surprise it won.
Needless to say, the community has used their votes to request ‘normal’ activities once again, and has chosen Arts and Crafts as the theme of the next community voted stuff pack:
1) Arts & Crafts
2) Happy Haunts
4) Science & Technology
I must admit, the Happy Haunts theme sounded really cool to me, but as a crafty person myself, I’m looking forward to this pack. The voting form also let Simmers choose specific gameplay features to be associated with the pack. Knitting won the vote there, which I don’t think has been in any Sims game before, so it will be interesting to see what the team comes up with for this.
Gameplay ranking for the winning theme:
3) Glass Fabrication
4) Edible Art
If you’re looking for Sims 4 deals this Black Friday, Origin has expansion packs (except for Discover University) at 50% off and game packs for 25% off.
