Devil May Cry 3 on Switch will introduce a Style Change system

It’s not often that a remaster does anything different from the original. Improved visuals are usually a given and then there’s maybe one or two differences, but nothing fundamentally changes. With the future release of Devil May Cry 3 on Switch, they’re bringing in some modern systems to spice things up a little for our devil hunting hero.

According to the official website for Devil May Cry 3, “The new Style Change system allows you to experience the action through a number of unique Styles allowing for unprecedented variety. Level up the Styles and weapons as you see fit and create a playstyle all your own.” This change is in line with more recent systems we saw in Devil May Cry 5 and it’s sure to add a lot more variety to any repeat playthroughs.

It’s an extremely interesting idea from Capcom to change some of the fundamental aspects of the original game. People who get these remasters have often played the game many times before and throwing in an incentive to revisit it is brilliant. Devil May Cry 3 will release on Switch on the 20th of February.

I am way too tall, played way too many games and I love to write about what we love about games. In the end, I'm just being #Thabolicious
