Dota Underlords leaves Early Access next month

Dota Underlords, a game that went from flavour of the month to a whimper as the player count bled will leave Early Access in February.

The game released in Early Access in June last year and has several reworks, a new mode, hero and item rotations and a Battle Pass, because of course it will have one.

A reworked UI, City Crawl mode, hero and item rotations and balance changes might breathe some life into the game’s faltering sails, as well as another Underlord.

While the dropping player count of Underlords in Early Access looks daunting, it still sits in Steam’s top 100 titles by player count and has outlasted the wreck that was Artifact. Maybe a release will draw in the players, or Valve will pull in players from a wider audience.

The full changes for the release are over here if you happen to be one of those people still playing.

If it has the letters RPG in it, I am there. Still battling with balancing trying to play every single game that grabs my interest, getting 100% in a JRPG, and devoting time to my second home in Azeroth.
