If you have watched any of the livestreams or interacted with Coffee Stain on Twitter, you will know that the developer is very much On-Line. Now after months of players begging for pipes in just about every single place imaginable, Satisfactory has added pipes to the experimental branch of the game.
The trailer shows just how much fun the team is having, making the reveal play out like something in a dramatic movie. Aww yeah, pipes thank you. Also, fast travel pipes to get my lazy butt around, especially when I *cough* lose my vehicle? Great idea.
Pumps will require more maintenance than conveyor belts and will be affected by gravity, meaning pumps will be required for those weird and wonderful contraptions you have in store.
The game is also getting a total rebalance to allow for progression systems to feel like all the various additions feel like part of the experience, rather than something added in later on. “The introduction of pipes to Satisfactory was bound to mess with existing factories and the balancing of the game. So, with the decision to add pipes, we also decided that we might as well go all-in and fix some of the balancing issues that had been lurking behind various corners for a while.”
Besides the various pipes, Satisfactory announced that it is heading to Steam Early Access soon.
