Rugby World Cup champs are looking the part in Rugby Challenge 4

The Rugby Challenge franchise is the last bastion of good rugby games since other offerings have fallen way short in giving the sport a proper video game representation. Rugby Challenge 4 is slated for release in 2020 and will feature over 25 licenced teams and all the players have been painstakingly scanned in and crafted to give a sense of authenticity. The newest team to officially join the ranks is none other than our very own Springboks.

You can see our boys scanned in and looking fresh in the header image above and joining them will be some of the other high profile teams that have gotten the same treatment:

It’s a fantastic line-up of teams already which is refreshing since rugby games generally struggle with licencing the proper teams. A little birdie also told us that there might be Super Rugby teams coming to the game as well, but that will be our little secret. Rugby Challenge 4 is coming to Xbox One and PS4 sometime this year with PC and Switch versions following soon after.

I am way too tall, played way too many games and I love to write about what we love about games. In the end, I'm just being #Thabolicious
