To say that Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint was a bit of a let down is somewhat of an understatement. The game was rather broken at launch, and many of the features that people loved of Wildlands were removed entirely.
Ubisoft has however asked for feedback from players and have been working hard to make some improvements to the gameplay experience, with a sizable patch landing this week. The patch comes in at 30GB for Xbox One, 17GB for PS4 and 15.5GB for PC. New features include:
THE GHOST EXPERIENCE
Introducing the brand-new Ghost Experience! Pick one of our pre-selected settings or modify parameters to create the unique experience you want. Right when you boot up the game, you will be able to choose from two preset options or build your own combination:
- Regular Experience: Play Ghost Recon Breakpoint the way it was released, with gear level and tiered loot.
- Immersive Experience: A brand-new experience of the game that removes gear level and tiered loot entirely, and offers new tactical options.
- Custom Experience: Choose your own selection of settings to create a personalized fit.
You’ll be able to choose from a variety of community-requested settings, such as stamina management, health regen, new HUD settings, and more!
Ghost Recon Breakpoint will also have some added weapon modifications and improved inventory management as well as the ability to play offline solo mode, should you have issues with internet connectivity.
Two new classes, Engineer and Echelon will be added to Breakpoint as well with that latter being in conjunction with Sam Fisher of the Splinter Cell series once again making an appearance in the new Deep State Adventure.

Finally, Ghost Recon Breakpoint will be free to try out this weekend starting 26 March, which is nice considering many people have got some free time on their hands.
