The Korean rating board is at it again, giving us the scoop on some unreleased games before the official announcement happens. We first heard of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remaster from the rating board and as we all know that turned out to be completely true. The latest game to receive an accidental leak is Mafia II with a possible definitive edition on the horizon.
Mafia II was one of the more liked games in the Mafia trilogy and I’m still nostalgic for that snowy New York-esque opening with all the Christmas music and Vito floundering around after returning home from war. If the ratings board is to be believed, we’ll likely see a remaster for current-gen consoles and perhaps an updated version for PC as well.
The rating board hasn’t failed us yet, but it could be a fluke this time. We’ll have to wait until there’s an official announcement before we get all excited, but I’m totally down with becoming a 1950s mobster again.
