Can you believe how quickly the days have gone by (intended) since Bend Studio made the leap to AAA territory with the open world, horror adventure game, Days Gone?
The game released exclusively on PlayStation 4 a year ago and while it did not do quite as fantastically as some of the platform’s other first-party games, it was still pretty well received. The gameplay is occasionally a bit glitchy, and the story rather generic, but it is still a fun and enjoyable experience.
To celebrate its one year anniversary, Bend Studio released some interesting statistics on everything that had been done:
A year ago, players took their first ride on the Broken Road.

Over 200 million hours have been spent playing the game. 45 million hoards have been eradicated and more than 88 million credits have been spent on bike upgrades and repairs. That’s pretty impressive if you think about it.
As mentioned, Days Gone wasn’t the best game ever made, but it still sold pretty well and hopefully we can see a sequel that delves deeper into the conspiracy and lore that the game has set up.
