A little surprise for PS Plus subscribers as Call of Duty WWII will be available for free on the service hopefully later today [You should be able to find it here.]. Before you freak out, there will still be more games coming to PS Plus and they’ll be announced later this week, think of this as a nice extra. There isn’t much left to say, so here’s a short blurb about the game in the unlikely chance that you’re not familiar:
Call of Duty returns to its roots with Call of Duty: WWII – a breathtaking experience that redefines World War II for a new gaming generation. Experience classic Call of Duty combat, the bonds of camaraderie and the unforgiving nature of war against a global power throwing the world into tyranny.
Our very own Garth gave the game a solid 8/10 in his review. I was actually waiting for the game to eventually got on sale for very cheap, but thankfully I don’t have to now. It’s unclear why they just gave away a Call of Duty title since that is very unorthodox for Activision to do, but hey, I won’t look a gift beaten dead horse in the mouth.
