After the success of the Ghost of Tsushima State of Play earlier this month, PlayStation will be holding another one, this time showcasing a deep dive into The Last of Us Part II. The event is slated to be held this Wednesday at 10 pm local time.
Up until now, we haven’t seen that much in terms of gameplay elements of The Last of Us Part II, with a lot of the marketing pushing the deep narrative that Naughty Dog and director Neil Druckmann has become known for. So it will definitely be worth having a look at exactly what the game will be offering in terms of actual gameplay, which is what we are all ultimately here for.
Sony and Naughty Dog have been having a rough time with the lead up to the release of The Last of Us Part II, with most still looking forward to it despite leaks revealing some controversial plot elements that many aren’t happy with, and trolls making it their business to let everyone know it. Interestingly, all comments on all platforms from PlayStation and Naughty Dog remains closed about anything related to the game, probably to avoid more spoilers for those who still want to play the game, but definitely to keep said trolls at bay.
Either way, it will be interesting to see how they manage such a live event.
