Get ready to brush your teeth, make coffee and Snap pics with Pokémon

Yesterday The Pokémon Company showcased a short presentation on quite a few titles coming to the franchise. As well as some interesting new features coming to existing games. Some of them include a title for kids learning to brush their teeth…another was a puzzle title where players will own their own Pokémon cafes. The presentation was literally just over 10 minutes long, but within that time, the announcements made most fans either cringe…or jump for joy. So if you missed it, we’ve got you covered.

Pokémon Smile

A game designed to encourage the youngest generation of trainers to brush their teeth. Designed with Augmented Reality, I’ll be the first to admit that although I laughed at seeing this originally, I’m probably going to try it out anyway. Pokémon Smile is available on iOS and Android.

Pokémon Café Mix

Ever wanted your own Pokémon Café? Well, now you can, in Pokémon Café Mix. A title created for the coffee connoisseurs and Pokémon lovers alike. A puzzle game where players take on the task of running a Café where Pokémon can be hired.

Pokémon Snap

Released back in the ’90s and early 20th century in most of the world, Pokémon Snap on the N64 gave Pokémon fans a different experience altogether. Becoming a photographer for the professor was an incredible task, one that was not replicated in any other way at the time. Since we’ve seen many mini-games or aspects like it, but never a sequel…until now. Not much was given with the announcement sadly, except a few juicy looking scenes. But that didn’t stop fans from hitting atmospheric hype levels (including myself).

Following all the new title announcements, fans also received some exciting news in respect of Mega Evolutions being introduced to Pokémon GO. As well as a wild Zeraora appearing in Max Raid Battles. Starting from now until the 28th of June, trainers will be able to take on Zeraora in Max Raid Battles. What’s more is that if a million trainers defeat the Pokémon, a shiny version will be distributed.
