Last night, CD Projekt RED announced that Cyberpunk 2077 will get another delay, this time by two more months to 19 November. The announcement came via a statement made by Twitter:

While we will rather have a properly finished and polished game, the fact that Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed so many times is becoming a bit of a joke at this stage. One can also not wonder if there’s some strategic reasoning behind it being delayed a while longer. We don’t have solid confirmation of the next generation consoles and their availability, but this delay essentially pushes Cyberpunk 2077 straight into next-gen territory.
Looking how broken many games get released recently, it really isn’t such a bad thing when a game gets delays a bit more, but we cannot help being a bit disappointed to see we’ll have to wait even longer before being able to visit Night City.
