After the Arkham games, it felt like the world was primed for more superhero city adventures. Who could be next was wondered many a time in the silence of Rocksteady. Now it looks like the speculation is over as domain names for a game about DC’s Suicide Squad have popped up, with the domains registered by a company connected to Warner Bros.
Domains include “SuicideSquadGame.com” and “SuicideSquadKillTheJusticeLeague.com”, which looks to be a contender for the final title, or its tagline.
There is also the “GothamKnighsGame.com” which refers to the unannounced Batman game that Warner Bros. Montreal has been teased with various Court of Owls teases for the last year or so.
It has been five years since Batman: Arkham Knight, and the silence from Rocksteady Studios has been noticed. Hopefully, an announcement is on its way soon.
With the DC Fandome event happening in August, it is possible that the domain registrations were done with the event in mind. Whether it will be more than a teaser is up in the air though.
