Xbox announces Games Showcase happening on the 23rd of July

‘Tis the season of video game reveals. Well, sorta. Usually, at this time of the year, we would be about a month after the big E3 events and would have a lot of new video games to talk about. This year, the world is all upside down. And instead of the regular big, combined release – we’ve seen a slower trickling of gaming news. That part, specifically, is not necessarily a bad thing, and with all the buzz around the PS5 and the new Xbox Series X – it does mean we get rather excited about every bit of news. Well, today it’s Microsoft’s turn to reveal a little more…

As posted yesterday, Xbox announced that they would be holding a virtual Xbox Games Showcase later this month. According to The Verge, viewers can expect ‘more info about Halo Infinite, some gameplay of previously revealed games and perhaps even some “brand-new game announcements”‘. The Xbox event will be preceded by 1-hour Summer Game Fest Pre-Show feature hosted by Geoff Keighley. Tune in on the 23rd of July 2020 at 6 pm SA Time.
