If you’re looking for a fantastically frantic couch co-op action puzzler (and that’s quite a mouthful – pun intended) then it’s hard to beat Overcooked!. Both games in the series have been universally praised and enjoyed. And the good news is that if you’ve haven’t purchased either of the games yet, and are already planning for the future – both games will be coming to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X in a shiny new package.
Yesterday, Team 17 announced Overcooked! All You Can Eat – a remastered version of both games (including all DLC and additions) coming to new consoles. Not only will the games be receiving a visual upgrade (60 FPS and 4K resolution) all 200 levels and 120+ chefs will return and even a little bit of new content too. However, probably the two new features I’m most excited about is cross-platform online multiplayer (no more families destroyed by the stress of burning kitchens) and several accessibility features (like a scalable user interface, Dyslexic-friendly text and colour blindness options) will now be included.
It’s a fantastic package with hours and hours of content and some bright new features. All you can eat, indeed!
