Parkasaurus leaves early access next month

If you enjoy theme park sims, then you need to take a look at the adorable dinosaur management game Parkasaurus. Developed by Washbear Studios, this game takes the ideas of Jurassic Park and dials the cute factor up 1000%.

The game is releasing on 13 August, after hitting early access towards the end of 2018. Abigail picked it up recently, and after being called to look at cute dinosaurs wearing silly hats a dozen times, I decided to give it a try too and it has some pretty fun park sim mechanics hiding under the cute exterior.

Dinosaurs require specific biomes to be happy, which you can create by adding water, certain tree types and the like, on top of making sure their needs are met and your visitors can get a good view of them. Dinos enter the park as eggs, meaning a pen might seem huge until they all grow up and suddenly you have space issues. To get these eggs, you need to go on expeditions to the past and you better research better items for your exhibits.

The 1.0 release will offer a full campaign, new game modes, more dinosaurs and enhanced exhibit design features. I just want to find the perfect hat / accessory for every dino and help them live their best lives.

If it has the letters RPG in it, I am there. Still battling with balancing trying to play every single game that grabs my interest, getting 100% in a JRPG, and devoting time to my second home in Azeroth.
