On Saturday evening (or early Sunday morning local time) DC held their DC Fandome Online event giving us all the DC goodness, including a reveal of the new Batman movie starring Robert Pattinson. More importantly though, we finally got to see what Rocksteady Studios have been busy with since they closed out the Arkham series with Batman: Arkham Knight.
Called Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, the game will follow the ragtag group of misfit criminals tasked with, as the title will suggest, Killing the Justice League. It was revealed with the pretty slick looking trailer, and definitely takes heavy influence from the Suicide Squad movie that was released in 2016. What we also know is that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is set in the same universe as the Arkham series, where Gotham Knights, also revealed at DC Fandome, is not.
We don’t have a release date yet, but it is still some time off, with a date set for 2022 and coming to PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
