Atomicrops’ Epic exclusivity is ending and new features are on the way

If you were looking to combine farming with a roguelike, but either missed out on it, or don’t enjoy having the Epic launcher on your PC, then Atomicrops is heading to GOG and Steam soon.

In Atomicrops you inherit your uncle’s farm and as soon as you move in, nuclear war starts. Thankfully there was a bunker on the property and now you need to wrangle plants in the day before fighting off mutants at night.

Come September 17, Atomicrops will no longer be an Epic exclusive and to coincide with this, a free update called Thyme Flies is on the way that adds new guns, upgrades, characters and a tractor that looks like something a mole designed. The Steam version will have a leaderboard and daily challenges

So if you enjoy farming games, but also like shooting things, you will be able to tick both boxes later this week. Don’t worry, I am sure those plants with eyes that move are totally safe to eat.

If it has the letters RPG in it, I am there. Still battling with balancing trying to play every single game that grabs my interest, getting 100% in a JRPG, and devoting time to my second home in Azeroth.
