Star Wars: Squadrons will have HOTAS support on consoles too

If you want to play Star Wars: Squadrons while feeling like a real pilot, it doesn’t matter what platform you play it on. Console versions will have a day one patch that adds HOTAS support.

While PC users have already known that hands-on throttle-and-stick peripherals would be supported, it is a welcome surprise that consoles will be allowed to do the same.

Ian S. Frazier, the game’s director, Tweeted about the feature.

Which HOTAS models will be supported wasn’t mentioned, but that information will probably be provided closer to launch.

Star Wars: Squadrons is out on October 2 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, which means I have less than a month to magically acquire a HOTAS for myself.

If it has the letters RPG in it, I am there. Still battling with balancing trying to play every single game that grabs my interest, getting 100% in a JRPG, and devoting time to my second home in Azeroth.
