Ken Levine’s next game is in the ‘later stages of production’

It feels like Ken Levine and Ghost Story Games have been quiet for some time now. Most of the information about the studio’s work in the last while has been from job adverts. Last year there was a listing that pointed to the game being an immersive sim with FPS and RPG elements. Now a new listing, looking for a senior producer, has given a bit more info.

Ghost Story Games is fewer than 35 people and is working on a “new immersive sci-fi game with RPG elements”. Apparently, the game is in “later stages of production.”

The job listing mentions the studio’s work environment too: “We are known for having genuine open communication with a flat structure. You’re welcome to join any meeting, walk up to (or Slack) anyone and have your voice heard. Team-based decision making is important to us, regardless of your position–every opinion counts and matters!”

The job listing recommends watching the below talk (Ken Levine at GDC 2014) for insight on what they are doing with the game.

Hopefully we will see something a bit more than a job listing soon.

If it has the letters RPG in it, I am there. Still battling with balancing trying to play every single game that grabs my interest, getting 100% in a JRPG, and devoting time to my second home in Azeroth.
