Watch the Game Music Festival online for free

This year’s Game Music Festival is going online and anyone can tune in and listen to music from some amazing games being performed by some stellar talent. Best of all? It is free to join in.

Starting tonight you can tune in for concert performances, masterclasses with amazing composers and game music directors and more. This year will feature music from Baldur’s Gate 3, Divinity: Original Sin II, Transistor, Hades, Pyre and Bastion.

Performances are captured with 9 dynamic cameras and professional microphones, using the best codecs available to make it feel like you are there, listening to the concert in person. The festival is performed in the National Forum of Music in Wroclaw, Poland by the NFM Wroclaw Philharmonic orchestra with the Cantores Minores Wrastislavienses choir, The Sound Factory Orchestra and soloists.

I love these soundtracks and many of them are in my work-day playlist, and the idea of hearing some insight into their creation by their composers is just too good an opportunity to miss.

The Game Music Festival will be on Twitch, and the individual concerts will be on YouTube. Catch The Symphony of Four Worlds and The Symphony of Sin.

If it has the letters RPG in it, I am there. Still battling with balancing trying to play every single game that grabs my interest, getting 100% in a JRPG, and devoting time to my second home in Azeroth.
