Hearthstone is taking us to the Darkmoon Faire, where the Old Gods lurk

It seems that there is something very strange happening at the Darkmoon Faire. Instead of family-fun, deep-fried treats and carnival games, anyone heading to the fairgrounds in Hearthstone will find things have been wrapped up by long tentacles and unspeakable horrors. Welcome to Madness at the Darkmoon Faire, where things have been corrupted by the Old Gods, who are back for some revenge after Whispers of the Old Gods.

C’Thun, Yogg-Saron, Y’Shaarj and N’Zoth are back with all-new Legendary cards and the Corrupt mechanic that causes certain cards to upgrade to a tentacled version covered in eyeballs if you play a card that costs more mana while a Corrupt card is in your hand. There is also a cycle of Old God artifacts which pay homage to the original effects of playing these four Old Gods.

Madness at the Darkmoon Faire is a full 135 card expansion, and having four 10-mana Legendary Old Gods in Neutral will see some greedy decks in the future.

If it has the letters RPG in it, I am there. Still battling with balancing trying to play every single game that grabs my interest, getting 100% in a JRPG, and devoting time to my second home in Azeroth.
