Cyberpunk 2077’s release has been delayed once more, this time by three weeks. The game is now scheduled to release on December 10.
The news was posted last night on Twitter, with developer CD Projekt Red posting about the struggle of shipping so many different versions of the game.
Employees at the studio have been working mandatory six-day weeks in an effort to complete a launch day patch. In the statement, the studio says it is working on “improvements” and that the time required for the launch day patch was “undercalculated”.
The statement makes no mention of the crunch conditions at the studio and what this 21 day delay means for the staff.
This is the third public delay of Cyberpunk 2077, which was originally aiming to be an April release, before changing to 17 September then 19 November.
