God of War runs at up to 60fps on PS5 and progress carries over

It looks like God of War is going to be something worth booting up on PlayStation 5. Sony Santa Monica tweeted about the title on a PS5, saying that a “Favour Performance” option will run at up to 60fps. On top of that, you can carry your saves across and finish that New Game+, or go hunting for that platinum trophy.

God of War ran at 1080p30 on the base model PS4, while the PS4 Pro offered checkerboard 4K at 30fps, or full HD with an unlocked frame-rate. Hopefully we will see God of War with a nice stable 60fps performance, as Digital Foundry said there was “noticeable judder”.

Well, I guess I am replaying God of War in the future. Not that I needed an excuse for such a marvellous game, but here we have one. Will I be transferring my save? Hmm, I am not so sure about that. Maybe? I have some time to think about this.

If it has the letters RPG in it, I am there. Still battling with balancing trying to play every single game that grabs my interest, getting 100% in a JRPG, and devoting time to my second home in Azeroth.
