Back in September, we got the news that fan favourite Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time would be getting a remake from Ubisoft. In fact, we actually got to interview game director Pierre-Sylvain Gires and senior producer Annu Koul back in September to get even more info about the new game and what changes we could expect – you can check it out here. Back then, the release date was January 21 next year. However, yesterday we received the news (via the official Ubisoft UK Twitter account) that the game would be delayed.
The game is now expected to release on the 18th of March 2021. Although the art-style revealed has been top everyone’s liking, the delay was (understandably) described as being down to COVID-19 and needing more time to ‘work on the game’. And considering all the comments around the PC reviews of a certain even higher profile (and apparently super buggy) game yesterday – I’m sure we’re all quite happy for developers to take a little more time to get the game to where they want it to be.
