Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2 really did everything you want from a remake. It included everything that made the original games great and brought a lot of extras to the party, doing so with enough snarky self-awareness that the nineties kid in all of us was more than happy to be saying “gnarly” again. If you’re a fan feeling nostalgic this is the skateboarding game you should be playing as it manages to capture what made the original games so much fun and as accessible as they were. And because it does this so well even new players will easily see what the fuss was all about. Check out our review here.
Runner-up: Dirt 5
