Laura Bailey: Abby Anderson in The Last of Us 2
Laura Bailey is perhaps one of the biggest names in video game voice acting at the moment, and in 2020 her biggest – and perhaps most controversial, depending who you ask – role was as Abby Anderson in The Last of Us 2. Laura also did the mocap for Abby, and between that and her voice performance, brought this character to life in a powerful way.
Runner-up: Daisuke Tsuji as Jin Sakai in Ghost of Tsushima.
Honourable Mentions: Nadji Jeter (Miles Morales in Spider-man: Miles Morales), Kaiji Tang (Ichiban Kasuga in Yakuza: Like a Dragon), Elana Dunkelman (Fenyx in Immortals Fenyx Rising).
