Overwatch has a new free-for-all map and a Hanzo micro event

Overwatch just added a new map called Kanezaka. This Tokyo-themed deathmatch map is full of alleyways and places to eat, like a cat café.

The map is supposed to be full of Easter eggs, ranging from fun developer stuff through to lore teases for the future of Overwatch. For example, the cat café has pictures of cats belonging to the developers.

A micro-event coincides with the arrival of Kanezaka. Getting nine wins between now and January 25 will net you the Kyōgisha Hanzo Skin, Yōkai spray and Pagoda icon, while the six remaining sprays will be earned by watching streamers play Overwatch.

I have to admit that the Deathmatch maps are where I spend the least amount of my time in Overwatch, but I will be loading it up to look at cat pictures and to explore a slice of Tokyo.

Also I totally need a Hanzo skin that looks exactly like what I picture the guy picking Hanzo in a team that desperately needs a tank or healer.

If it has the letters RPG in it, I am there. Still battling with balancing trying to play every single game that grabs my interest, getting 100% in a JRPG, and devoting time to my second home in Azeroth.
