While BioWare has been keeping a tight lid on Dragon Age 4, it looks like an artbook called BioWare: Stories and Secrets from 25 Years of Game Development has some art relating to the fourth entry.
On one page, as confirmed by Eurogamer, an entry says “the long-awaited follow-up to Dragon Age: Inquisition […] will take players to Tevinter as the events of Inquisition and Trespasser threaten to forever change Thedas.”
We have had hints at Tevinter before, with the Trespasser DLC and the end of Inquisition pointing at the location.
The artbook also shows what appears to be Antiva City, which sits on Tevinter’s eastern border as well as an Antivan Crow, the dramatic but deadly assassins that use glowing blades and kill to make a display.
Dragon Age 4 was first teased in 2018 at The Game Awards, before we got something more concrete during Gamescom last year and a new trailer at The Game Awards 2020.
EA says the game will be ready in 2022 or later, so put this info in your long-term memory for now.
