Disco Elysium: The Final Cut will have extra quests and more

How we all wake up in 2021.

Disco Elysium is an amazing game that I drummed on and on about when it released. Now with it heading to consoles this year along with some mighty fine changes, I will be grabbing my megaphone and finding a roof to climb to shout about the game.

Disco Elysium: The Final Cut will be fully voiced, which is taking three VO directors working full time to get through the one-million-plus words of the game. While some dialogue was already voiced, a lot of the text was just that: paragraph after paragraph to read through yourself. Now even your skills will be voiced, which should make it easier for those who aren’t able or don’t want to sit and read that much off a screen.

There are four new sidequests that sound like they are worth delving into, with one for each of the game’s political philosophies. There are also a few small details to look out for, like new animations and improved character portraits.

Disco Elysium: The Final Cut is planned for release in March, so clear some space in your calendar now. I promised that I would replay this game, and this sounds like a perfect excuse.

If it has the letters RPG in it, I am there. Still battling with balancing trying to play every single game that grabs my interest, getting 100% in a JRPG, and devoting time to my second home in Azeroth.
