Overcooked! All You Can Eat now confirmed for Switch, last-gen consoles & Steam

Back in July 2020, Team 17 (the people behind Overcooked!) announced Overcooked! All You Can Eat. This would be a remastered version of both games (including all DLC and additions) coming to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles. Not only would the games be receiving a visual upgrade (60 FPS and 4K resolution) all 200 levels and 120+ chefs would also return and even a little bit of new content too. That was of course very exciting for next-gen owners. However, for those of us still stuck in the present/past, the news was tinged with sadness. Until yesterday that is…

Yup, as you can see in the trailer above Overcooked! All You Can Eat will now be coming to all platforms (Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One and even Steam) on the 23rd of March 2021. According to the Team 17 blog post making the announcement, the new game will be “available in 60 frames per second in up to 4K resolution”. However, I’m sure this will be console dependent. New chefs, online cross-platform multiplayer, more crazy content and, wonderfully, new accessibility options are part of this beefed-up package – and I for one can’t wait.
