Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 gets indefinite delay as developer gets replaced

Development of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has appeared troubled for quite a while now, with constant changes to the senior staff on the project, and now Paradox Interactive has announced that Hardsuit Labs is no longer the developer of the game.

In a Tweet this morning titled “Bloodlines 2 Development Update” a short message about being silent for a while prefaces the news, with no reason or quotes from anyone. “As you have noticed, we’ve been keeping pretty quiet for a while. With this in mind, the first piece of news we have for you is to confirm that Bloodlines 2 is still in development.”

“Secondly, we have made the hard decision that Hardsuit Labs will no longer be leading the development of Bloodlines 2 – which also means that we will not be releasing in 2021 as previously planned.”

Currently the Hardsuit Labs Twitter account still says they are working on Bloodlines 2 and they have not responded to the announcement.

This update makes Bloodlines 2 look further away than ever, and who knows what this means for the staff of Hardsuit Labs.

If it has the letters RPG in it, I am there. Still battling with balancing trying to play every single game that grabs my interest, getting 100% in a JRPG, and devoting time to my second home in Azeroth.
