Amazon announced a new studio in Montreal Canada that will fall under the Amazon Games banner. The new studio has a team of Rainbow Six Siege stalwarts to lead it: Luc Bouchard, Alexandre Remy, Xavier Marquis and Romain Rimokh.
If you have played Rainbow Six Siege, you probably know these names. These developers have essentially been the face of Rainbow Six Siege and have contributed to its success all the way from inception through design.
Marquis and Remy left the Siege team in December 2019 to work on a different project in Ubisoft, but it appears they have left Ubisoft altogether.
Luc Bouchard is the new studio’s head of production, Xavier Marquis is the creative director, Alexandre Remy is head of product while Romain Rimokh will be the content director.
The studio is working on a new IP that will be an online multiplayer game with a “unique experience”. Seems like the right group of people for a multiplayer game.
