Assassin’s Creed Valhalla expansion has been delayed into May

Wrath of the Druids, the first big expansion for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, has been delayed into May.

The expansion was originally aiming for a 29 April release date and the delay pushes it back two weeks, with the new release date being 13 May.

“To deliver a more refined experience, we’re sharing that Wrath of the Druids will now release on 13th May. We’re working on an article to provide transparency and share insights on our dev process. Thanks for your patience.”

The tweet mentions an article that will look into the dev process and explain the delay, but it stands to reason that the team wants the expansion to be as highly polished as possible. The most recent event for the game, an Easter event in your settlement, went live and was then temporarily disabled due to the number of crashes it was causing for players. Hopefully, Wrath of the Druids can avoid similar issues with this delay.

If it has the letters RPG in it, I am there. Still battling with balancing trying to play every single game that grabs my interest, getting 100% in a JRPG, and devoting time to my second home in Azeroth.
