Another Resident Evil Village demo is on the way for hungry players

In January Capcom dropped a demo for Resident Evil Village, giving players a chance to look around the game. Now we know there another demo on the way and it looks like there will be a lot to do.

The demo will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series. A big caveat is that the demo is available for one day and during that day, you can only play for one hour, then you are done.

The demo includes access to the village itself and the surrounding castle areas. You can do whatever you want but that 60-minute time limit means you probably don’t want to dawdle. The demo will be available on May 2 from 2 am until May 3.

PlayStation owners will have early access to the demo, but split into two 30-minute sessions to cover both of the two areas on show. It starts this weekend if you are hungry to see more.

Each 30-minute chunk of time is available in an 8-hour window, but you can pre-load it to prep accordingly. The first slot is on April 18 from 7 pm to 3 am, so I guess I know what some people are doing on Sunday evening. The second chunk is on April 25 from 7 pm to 3 am.

There are no restrictions to livestreaming the playthrough, so expect to see a lot of the demo soon.

Resident Evil Village is out on May 7 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series.

If it has the letters RPG in it, I am there. Still battling with balancing trying to play every single game that grabs my interest, getting 100% in a JRPG, and devoting time to my second home in Azeroth.
