Looter-slasher Godfall is only available on PC and PS5 right now, but a new PEGI rating listing points to a potential PS4 release on the cards.
The European PEGI rating board has filed a new listing for the game, which adds PS4 to the mix on 23 April.
Counterplay Games revealed Godfall in 2019, where it was announced as a PS5 exclusive. The game launched in November 2020 and it looks like the exclusivity deal has run its course.
There has been no announcement from Counterplay Games about this, and it will be interesting to see how Godfall will run on a PS4. One of the game’s strengths is its graphics, and that hacking and slashing won’t be too fun if the framerate gets all messed up whenever massive particle storms appear.
I found Godfall to be more of a graphics showcase than something you come back to again and again for more hacking and slashing, but who knows, maybe it still looks grand on a PS4?
