Nintendo E3 Direct date & time confirmed

Believe it or not, next week Saturday (12th of June) E3’s all-digital event will officially kick off. Now, of course, we’ve known about it for a while now. In fact, back when we covered the announcement in April we already knew several of the big names that would be participating; ‘Nintendo, Xbox, Capcom, Konami, Ubisoft, Take-Two Interactive, Warner Bros. Games and Koch Media’. Since then, a few more developers have even joined in. However, while we already had dates and times for several of the shows – one of the biggest names, Nintendo, was conspicuously quiet about when their Direct would air. Well, that just changed…

Yup, as you can see from the tweet above, Nintendo has decided to have their special E3 Direct on the last day of the show (15th June) at 18:00 our time. There are already several rumours swirling about, regarding what we’ll see. But for all of you hoping for some ‘Super Switch Pro’ news – you’ll note the tweet specifically states we’ll be seeing “Nintendo Switch software“. So if they do have anything to announce hardware-wise – it’ll likely happen sometime before Saturday – or alternatively later this year. I for one, am rather excited to see what’s in store and can’t wait for next weekend!
