When it comes to choosing a monitor for gaming – it’s become a pricey and often quite confusing process. And while the former is probably not changing anytime soon – Xbox wants to make getting a perfect Series X/S monitor as easy as possible. And with that in mind, yesterday, Xbox announced they have been working with “leading display manufacturers” to produce a range of monitors that will definitely take advantage of all the new consoles can offer. This is what Xbox had to say about the ‘Designed For Xbox’ monitors:
With the amazing visual capabilities of Xbox Series X|S and new display features to consider like HDR, 4K at 120Hz, and Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), we want to help Xbox fans find the ideal monitor for your preferred gaming experience… We worked closely with leading display manufacturers including Philips, ASUS, and Acer over the last two years to prepare these products to take full advantage of Xbox Series X|S and HDMI 2.1.
For now (more monitors will be added later), the three revealed were the Philips Momentum 559M1RYV 55”, the ASUS Strix Xbox Edition Gaming Monitor XG43UQ 43” and the Acer Xbox Edition Gaming Monitor XV282K KV 28” pictured above.
