Xbox announces Gamescom 2021 streamed event

This year, Gamescom will again be a fully virtual event. So, rather than having to travel all the way to Germany – you can enjoy the show from the comfort of your own home. The show will run from 24 August to 26 August 2021. And yesterday, Xbox confirmed that on Tuesday the 24th, fans can look forward to the official Gamescom 2021 Xbox Stream starting at 7 pm local time.

According to the full announcement (which you can find here), the Xbox event will be hosted by Parris Lilly and Kate Yeager and will include:

In-depth updates from some of our previously announced Xbox Game Studios titles alongside some of our third-party partners, including some of the incredible titles coming to Xbox this holiday, upcoming releases to our monthly subscription service, Xbox Game Pass, and much more.

The announcement also explained that Bethesda Germany would be present at the show and that Xbox would be hosting a gamescom special edition FanFest too (with details to be revealed: “very soon”). During Gamescom, Xbox will also run “a digital Xbox Sale for fans in Europe”.
