We were given a chance to have a play of the Call of Duty: Vanguard early access multiplayer on PS5 over the weekend of the 10th to 13th of September. If you didn’t get to play, this weekend is weekend two of the beta, running from the 16th to the 20th, open to other platforms by invite to test crossplay and eventually open to all to stress test servers.
My time with the beta is summarised in the video below, I think that the game has lots of potential and that the beta will give the devs some time to fix some issues that are present. I bugged out a few times, and some of the maps need small reworks to be friendlier to all styles of play.
The game is really true to the era of WWII and the devs have captured it in the way they present the areas of battlefronts, as well as in the architecture and interiors of the buildings. Guns and uniforms are of course on point as well.
Check out our video here to hear and see some of the time I spent in the game. And if you played or will be playing the game soon – let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
