Cricket

Watched all the wickets, there's quite a bit of extra bounce and a decent bit of sideways movement off the seam too. Basically it's extremely hard to bat on but not dangerous. Even when they play the right line it's a bit of a lottery with the movement.

Demerit point fully deserved. But not a big deal, they won’t do that 6 times.

SA20 starts today for those interested. First game at 17:30
Thanks for the heads up. Might find some time to watch a bit.

The team names in SA20 (and IPL for that matter) are so unmemorable- doesn’t help that they shorten it to kuk like ‘PC’ on TV….blergh

Only a bit better then teams that name themselves lions or other animals names when they don't even have said animal naturally in their country.

In other cricket SA ladies playing aus currently. Aus 57/2 after 7 chasing 163. Series currently level 1-1.

Ladies got their first ever win vs Aus in that last game. Long time coming.

Great pair of test matches over the weekend. Good to see the Windies put a win together.

Ladies lost a tight encounter. Difference was fielding and running between the wickets. Both easily fixed with hard work.

Tried our best to lose to Holland again in the T20 WC yesterday. But Dave Miller saved us.

The games being played in the USA are all a bit of a gamble.
Yeah it’s really terrible for T20s especially.

How are we going to adapt to a proper pitch after playing these games on the cabbage patch? Tough ask.

Another poor batting display but we somehow beat Bangladesh.
All batsmen will be very happy to leave new York behind.

Don’t think it’s possible to bat well on that pitch. Any ball can get anyone out, just a time bomb.

Going to be tough going from that to a 200 pitch and trying to adjust quickly.

If super 8's go as its currently looking we will have a soft one so time to adjust.
Very likely to be West Indies, US & Scotland in our group as things currently stand.
The weather in Florida means its a 90% chance either if not both us vs Ned or Pakistan vs Ned gets rained out, that happens and US is through.

Ja, the Aussies and Poms playing in the Windies is going to be a huge advantage for them.
You assume England get out of the group.
Their washout vs Scotland has put that in massive jeopardy. Need to thrash both Oman & Namibia and hope aus (who have nothing to play for as already qualified) thrash Scotland. If not Scotland will go through on nrr.

We tried our best to lose to Nepal but won by 1 run. Hopefully the batting now comes good for the big games.

That was painful to watch. The Proteas bowling attach needs work and the USA almost beat them.
