Passed my Learner's 1st time, failed my Driver's, never rescheduled and let my Learner's expire. Rewrote my Learner's, passed again and passed the Driver's. Though in all fairness, I think the officer was either blind or very nice towards me, since I was sure I ****ed up at one pedestrian crossing

I'm going for the Driver's Test on Tuesday(I was just informed they moved it to from tomorrow to next week Tuesday).I will be doing the test for a Second Time. First time I failed the doing the Parallel Parking from the left hand side. I was so angry at myself this after I did so well with the Reverse/Backing and the Parallel from the Right Hand side. After the failed attempt the Testing Officer was like, "Mr Krohne, what happened? You did so well." I was embarrassed to say the least. I dont know why they allow a crowd of people to watch while you're taking the driver's test. It just adds to the intensity.
Erm... *whispers in ear* If you scroll down you’ll see that I got it... first time.

First time. Way back in 2004. I had to take the instructor to buy nappies lol. He bought those we headed back and that was that lol. I do consider myself an excellent driver though. I have no bad driving habits, and stick to the road rules. Every day I see at least 20 traffic violations, excluding taxis. Our roads are lawless, drivers are aggressive, and everyone is entitled and their time is worth more than yours. I hate the roads now quite honestly. They are WAY bigger death traps in this country than anything else Imo.

First time. When we had to do the emergency stop he told me that he would hit his pen on the dashboard and that was the point at which I should start the emergency stop. He hits the pen, I slam on brakes, his pen goes flying somewhere under his seat. We stopped for like a solid 5 minutes while he looked for it. Pretty uneventful other than that.

And this is how it should be. I believe its a good way to teach financial responsibility early on.

Oh yeah, I was cool with that. Made me grow up to be financially responsible and I can proudly say I never ran to mommy & daddy for help with money.
