I'm very disappointed in Intel's thermals. My next chip will be a Ryzen.
The 7700k over-heating is a known issue. Didn’t know it was that bad though. Coffee is much better. I was tempted to go 7700k but the over-heating thing swung me to Coffee.

I know it’s a small thing for most, but I like having the iGPU as a backup. I’ve had to resort to it as backup with a recent RMA. If I was on Ryzen, I would have been stuck without a picture for over a week.
